Place: Village of Rialp. Section from el Castanyer to the bridge of Santa Caterina.
Heat rounds between two teams in the same section as the sprint race (previous event), in which the first classified races against the last, the second against the one before last, and thus consecutively.
It is a highly attractive race since the rules allow it all against the contestant except from physical contact. The two teams must find the fastest current so one boat will try to beat the other one. This is the first race that will confront two teams and will give us an idea of who are the strongest participants.
